1 year Original Manufacturer Warranty

All frames that we carry on CoolFrames come with a 1 year manufacturer warranty. This warranty is available from the originial manufacturer and affirms the authenticity of our inventory. The warranty covers any manufacturer defect such as fading color, metal discoloration, hinge breakage, etc.

In the event that your frame requires service, please call us at (888) 293-4755 to initiate the repair/exchange. You will need to cover the shipping charges to our New York warehouse and pay an additional $15 processing charge to cover our costs related to repair or exchange. We will either repair or replace the defective frame at our descretion. Please allow 2 to 3 weeks for processing.

The warranty is invalidated if the defect is caused by misuse, neglect, tampering or incorrect adjustment.
It is also invalidated if unauthorised persons carry out any alterations or repairs.

Maui Jim 2-year Manufacturer Warranty

Maui Jim Sunglasses are warranted to the original purchaser for two years from the date of purchase against any defect in materials and workmanship. Maui Jim will repair or replace, at our opinion, any pair of Maui Jim Sunglasses found to be defective - exclusive of damage caused by improper or unreasonable use.

This warranty does not apply to normal wear, including lens scratching or accidental breakage. This warranty does not cover shipping cost. The repair will generally be completed within five days and returned via US Priority Mail. Any sunglasses returned during the warranty period must be accompanied by the following:

• Original proof of purchase is required. Include dated copy of the original sales receipt with your returned sunglasses.
• A brief note indicating how your sunglasses broke.
• Include your name, phone number, and address in the event that we need to contact you. There may be additional charges if your repair is not covered by Maui Jim's warranty.

2 year Extended Warranty

As an authorized dealer of our entire product line we can offer you an extended 2 year warranty on your new frame.

This warranty covers the same exact defects as the original manufacturer warranty, but with a few important differences. Instead of 1 year, the warranty is in effect for 1 additional year for a total of 2 years of coverage. Furthermore, even though you will still need to cover shipping charges to our New York warehouse, the $15 processing fee will be waived.

The extended warranty costs $29.95 and must be purchased along with the frame. The extended warranty is not available for Maui Jim products.

Generic/House Brand Lenses

For your convenience, we offer a 1 year warranty on custom lenses that you purchase along with your frame.

The warranty covers only polycarbonate and high-index lenses against scratches and peeling. Due to the fragile nature of plastic lenses, we are not able to offer a warranty for this material.

There will be a $20 processing charge to cover our lab and shipping costs. You will also be responsible for shipping charges to our New York warehouse. Please allow 2 to 3 weeks for processing.

Crizal Brand Lenses

As a special bonus to our customers, we are offering an extended 2 year warranty on all Crizal lenses free of charge for a total of 2 years of coverage. Please visit Lens Recommender to learn more about Crizal lenses.
